Es una zona de gran interés faunístico que destaca por la variedad de especies que se pueden observar. Los más habituales son los sargos, meros, morenas, bicudas, abades, pejeperros, cabrillas y catalufas. Pero los más espectaculares y generalmente frecuentes, son la culebrita, la langosta canaria, la cigala, la brota y las gorgonias amarillas.
