Othmans Reef - Two reefs - There are actually two reefs at this location. There is a small one which you can easily find by simply following the bank out towards the open sea. It is probably no more than 30-40 meters away from the beach. The second one is much larger and far more interesting, but a little bit tricky to find if you have not dived this location before. Start from the sign on the beach to the east of the dune next to the jetty and swim out on a course of about 155 (actually between 155 and 160 may be better). Swim steadily for about 8 to 10 minutes and you should hit the reef. If you follow the correct course you should see the reef to your left as you are approaching it. It's quite large (about 100 meters long and 20 meters wide at the widest) so it is relatively easy to find if you are swimming on the correct heading.
